Spring Melancholy
No specific knitting in this post, but I've made another playlist!
Something has shifted here in Glasgow. The days are getting longer, the birds are sounding louder, and the crocuses are out in all their purple, yellow and white beauty. Could it be… Spring is just around the corner?
This feels huge. Simultaneously hopeful and melancholic. I always find it a strange time of year, where you’re almost willing time to speed up, but also cherishing all the small changes happening all around. Like right now, it’s 5.26pm and it’s still light!
For today’s post i’ve made a playlist of songs that I feel embody that almost spring potential, yet are somehow quite sad too. It’s a short one today, but I hope you’re all doing alright.

I'm feeling the same feelings here in Australia! The landscape has yet to turn from brown to green, and it's currently 37 degrees C, but there are small signs of autumn and the hope of cooler days. Spring is a very magical time in Britain, but autumn is my favourite here. Thank you for the playlist :)
